How to use a template
Follow these simple steps to set up your AI assistant with the Second Brain template (works for any template):
Duplicate the template
Click the template link above and open it in Notion. In the top-right corner, click Duplicate. The template will now appear in your Notion workspace, ready to customize.
Grant Nouify access (optional)
You can grant access now or during assistant creation:
- Open your duplicated template in Notion
- Click the ... menu (top-right)
- Select Connections → Connect to → Nouify
- If Nouify isn't listed yet, you'll authorize it in the next step
Create your assistant
Open Telegram and navigate to @NouifyBot:
- Click My Assistants → Create new assistant
- Or simply type
/new - Give it a name (e.g., "Second Brain")
- Add an optional description to remember its purpose
Connect the database
Select your template database from the list (e.g., "Second Brain"). If prompted, click the authorization link to grant Nouify access to your Notion workspace. This is a one-time OAuth flow that's secure and standard.
Add custom instructions
Each template includes optimized custom instructions:
- Go back to your Notion template
- Click the database name, then select Edit database
- Find the Description field - it contains the custom instructions
- Copy the instructions and paste them in Telegram when prompted
- These instructions help your assistant understand how to work with your template
Done! Start using your assistant
Your AI assistant is now connected. Send messages (text or voice) to add entries, ask questions, and interact with your data naturally. Your assistant understands your database structure and is ready to help!
